Yoga and Ayurveda Day Retreat

Sunday 3rd November
10:00am - 4:00pm

Escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse yourself in a rejuvenating day retreat that harmonises the ancient practices of Yoga and Ayurveda.

Ayurveda, often referred to as the "sister science of Yoga," is one of the world's oldest holistic healing systems. Originating in India, Ayurveda has been practised for over 5000 years. It is well respected and known around the world. The word ‘Ayurveda’ translates from Sanskrit as ‘the science of life’.

Our day together will draw from the wisdoms of Yoga and Ayurveda. We will practise Yoga, meditation and pranayama. A more energising Yoga flow during the morning and a restorative session to soothe the transition into Autumn in the afternoon.

A freshly prepared, delicious and nutritious lunch is provided. Ayurveda places special importance on the food we eat as the basis of a good, healthy and happy life. Healthy and wholesome food nourishes the mind, body and soul

Sarah is currently completing her Ayurveda Clinician Diploma and will guide you through the principles of Ayurveda. Exploring the Doshas, you will discover your own Dosha type and how self-care rituals can help bring balance to your life.
