Spring is the season of renewal, growth, and gentle awakening. As the light returns and the energy of the natural world begins to rise, we are invited to do the same, clearing away the heaviness of winter and reconnecting with a sense of balance and vitality.
Ayurveda, often referred to as the "sister science of Yoga," is one of the world's oldest holistic healing systems. Originating in India, Ayurveda has been practised for over 5000 years. It is well respected and known around the world. The word ‘Ayurveda’ translates from Sanskrit as ‘the science of life’.
This half-day workshop weaves together energising yoga, deeply restorative practices, and the seasonal wisdom of Ayurveda to support you through the transition into spring, leaving you feeling refreshed, grounded, and quietly uplifted.
Yoga
You will experience an energising flow exploring the themes of renewal and gentle awakening to Spring. Clearing away stagnant energy.
Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra to bring balance and rest as we make the transition to a new season.

Yoga Mat

Ayurveda
You will learn how the gentle wisdom of Ayurveda helps us restore balance by working with the season of Spring rather than against it.
We will explore simple, practical ways to support ourselves through movement, breath, rest, and everyday lifestyle choices, helping you feel lighter, clearer, and more energised.
Venue
Marwell Hotel situated next to Marwell Zoo is close to Winchester with easy access from the M3.
The light filled Maplethorpe Room has double aspect windows and looks out over a courtyard to woodland beyond.
There is plenty of free parking in the hotel car park.
Refreshments
Herbal teas and homemade Ayurvedic treats are included.
