Autumn Equinox
A Yoga & Ayurveda Workshop

πŸ‚ The Autumn Equinox marks a sacred time of balance, between the seasons. We leave behind the high energies of Summer and begin to transition to the slower pace of Autumn. As the Earth begins its gentle turn inward, we are invited to gather the fruits of our year, channel this grounding energy into gratitude, release, and a deep sense of inner peace.

🌿 Ayurveda, often referred to as the "sister science of Yoga," is one of the world's oldest holistic healing systems. Originating in India and practiced for over 5,000 years, it teaches us how to live in harmony with the shifting seasons. The word Ayurveda translates from Sanskrit as "the science of life."

🍁 This half-day workshop weaves together grounding Yoga practices, an Ayurvedic tea ceremony, and an exploration of how to balance the rising Vata dosha. As Autumn can often leave us feeling scattered and ungrounded, this session is the perfect opportunity to restore your inner balance.

🍁 The Equinox Altar: We will bring together the 5 elements (Pancha Mahabhuta), Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether. Honouring each and the part they play as we move throught the Autumn equinox.

🍁 Leave feeling deeply centred, nourished, and beautifully aligned with the rhythms of nature as we transition into the colder months.
